Earlier this week, I thought it would be fun to introduce some of the people in my acknowledgments for North of Beautiful. So please meet Lydia Golston, my former next-door neighbor who always believed that I could and should write. Just look at her. She is one of the most truly beautiful women I know. A survivor.
